Journal Entry 13: Unpredictable

One experience I had that I acted unpredictably myself happened this summer. My family and I went to Hwa-lian during the summer and we went to our friends to the river to climb up the river. Climbing up the river was fun since we are able to stop and play with the water or water fall along the way. I had always been a girl that is scared of everything, such as scary roller-coasters, or haunted house. I had always been the kind of girl that stands there and watch my sister experiences all the scary things and all the cool events. But this time I had decided that I will not be watching again, I will actually do it. So we went to climb up the river, and along the way we go through a lot of water falls. And the people that brought us up the river told us that we can jump down the water fall and also make some tricks. My parents expected my sister to do it all alone until I said I wanted to do it too. My parents were both shocked, and even I was shocked too. The water fall was really really high. And most of the people that went with us were scared and didn't go, even my sister was kind of scared. But I did it. And I found out that I actually liked it. So I did it many many times.
From this unpredictable experience, I learned that you will never know if you really liked something or you don't. And it never hurts to try. This unpredictable experience affects my real life that after this time, I will try many new things and not be afraid and just stand there without doing anything. It can affect the plot by changing the plot completely and make the story fun to read because it is not the reader has expected.
